Market Insights Manager - Beijing

The Google marketing team is responsible for marketing the company's exceptional product portfolio to end users, partners and customers on a worldwide basis. The role: Market Insights Manager
As Market Insights Manager, you will drive qualitative and quantitative research project with your market research skills, analytical horsepower and business judgment. Researchers are talented and passionate individuals who will develop and market industry leading sales and thought-leadership focused research. The objective is to establish and deepen advertiser and publisher understanding and relationships. You are a team-oriented self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage research projects across China.
- Define research priorities to advance business goals.
- Drive the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research studies to address existing business issues across other Google divisions (e.g. sales/ marketing/ product).
- Develop business-relevant conclusions from analysis and effectively communicate them.
- Determine return on investment of research initiatives.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree with a quantitative emphasis strongly preferred.
- Extensive market research experience with strong customer-facing, consultative expertise.
- Strong experience in media mix and advertising effectiveness research.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skill. Experience in presenting research to external clients.
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
- Fluency both in English and Chinese.
