Phase I: Candidate city selection: Open voting will be held on Google Rebang. The top 20 candidates will be selected from both voting results and professional recommendations.

Phase II: City road shows: 20 "City Day" will be held in the candidate cities. A final round of vote will take place and results will be published daily.

Phase III: Award ceremony.

Phase IV : Worldwide roadshow. Together with other organizations, a "China City Olympic Roadshow" series will be held in cities that had been Olympic Games hosts.
